Edremit
Edremit, a county of Balikesir, is a touristic center with clean sea and beaches, historical and archeological creations.
The district is under the influence of Agean and Mediterranean Climate conditions. Winters are mild and rainy while summers are hot and dry.
Edremit Museum
Remains from Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman Periods were found during the excavations in Edremit and they are now on display in the Museum. Three thousand years old Bronze vase, Mosaic Stone found at the Temple of Diana, inscribed stones and ethnographic works are worth seeing.
